Terms of Service for MC Script Companion
These Terms of Service govern your use of MC Script Companion, provided by Cunning Creek Studios. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Use of the app
MC Script Companion is provided as a personal tracking and reminder tool for medicinal cannabis scripts, plans, reminders, and related history.
You may use the app only in compliance with applicable laws, the Google Play terms that apply to your device and purchases, and these Terms of Service.
Premium features and subscriptions
Some features of MC Script Companion are offered as paid premium features through in-app purchases. Subscription billing, restoration, and entitlement management may be handled through Google Play and RevenueCat.
If you purchase a subscription:
- pricing, trial availability, billing cycle, and renewal terms are presented in Google Play at the time of purchase
- subscriptions renew according to the terms shown by Google Play unless cancelled through your Google Play account
- access to premium features may end if the subscription expires, is cancelled, is refunded, or cannot be validated
No medical advice
MC Script Companion does not provide medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, treatment guidance, prescribing advice, emergency support, or pharmacy advice.
You are responsible for relying on your prescribing clinician, pharmacist, and official prescription information for treatment decisions.
User responsibility
You are responsible for:
- entering accurate script, plan, and event information
- checking prescription details, repeats, pharmacy instructions, and eligibility dates independently
- reviewing reminders and history before acting on them
- maintaining the security of your own device and any backups you choose to create
If you edit or delete events, the app recalculates from the saved event history. Incorrect entries can therefore change displayed eligibility, reminder, or history outcomes.
Availability and changes
MC Script Companion may be updated, improved, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Features, calculations, wording, premium access rules, and technical behaviour may change to improve accuracy, usability, reliability, or compliance.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the app in a way that violates any law or regulation
- attempt to interfere with the app's operation, billing systems, or security mechanisms
- misuse refund, restoration, or subscription systems
- use the app as a substitute for professional medical or pharmacy advice
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MC Script Companion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Cunning Creek Studios does not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate for every use case, or suitable for your particular needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cunning Creek Studios is not liable for treatment decisions, missed reminders, incorrect entries, prescribing outcomes, pharmacy outcomes, delivery issues, subscription issues caused by third-party platforms, or other direct or indirect consequences arising from use of the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time.
We may suspend or limit access to premium or app functionality where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance reasons.
Data and deletion
You can delete profiles, scripts, plans, and related history from within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes local app data from the device subject to normal operating system behaviour.
Subscription records and purchase validation data may continue to be maintained by Google Play and RevenueCat in accordance with their legal and operational requirements.
Changes to these terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of MC Script Companion after an updated version becomes available means you accept the updated terms.
